How is this parser different from the Monthly Log File Analyzer?

This tool directly reads the complete SQLite database file stored locally by the BM6 APP on your phone. In addition to analyzing monthly historical voltage and driving trips, it can also parse high-frequency (100Hz) engine cranking test voltage waveforms (Cranking Waveform) and charging/ripple test records.

How do I get the BM6.sqlite file?

On iPhone or Android phones, you can use file sharing or backup software (such as iTunes, iMazing, Android File Transfer, etc.) to access the BM6 APP's sandbox directory (Documents), where you can find the database file named BM6.sqlite or BM6.db.

Is there a privacy risk when uploading the sqlite file?

Absolutely not. This tool uses SQL.js local WebAssembly technology. All database loading, querying, and chart rendering are performed within your browser's sandbox, and no data is transmitted to external servers.

Why are there red and orange dots on the cranking waveform?

The red dot (Min) represents the lowest instantaneous voltage during starter motor drag; the orange dot (Starter) is determined by a dynamic threshold algorithm, indicating the instant the starter motor power is cut off and the alternator takes over power generation.
